Winner: Jack Turner - Lazer Blaze - Louisville, KY
There are very few individuals who have done more for the laser tag industry as an operator than Jack Turner. Developers from around the world have come through Lazer Blaze to learn from Jack's operations and what makes his facility so successful.
Jack has run Lazer Blaze in Louisville, Kentucky since 1997 and has expanded his business from a simple stand-alone to include an indoor mini-golf and cafe where his staff make their own pizzas.
Jack also speaks frequently at Zone Laser Tag's startup seminars on how to increase profits by adding a kitchen and making your own food. His contributions to the ILTA Members Dinners have helped spur many great ideas and innovations for both developers and operators in our industry.
Lastly, Lazer Blaze hosts the ILTA's Laser Tag Museum, the world's largest collection of laser tag memorobilia, free of charge. The museum has had visitors from all over the industry come to see the number of laser tag systems and items represented there.
For these reasons, Jack was selected for the 2011 Golden Phaser Award for being "Operator of the Year."
We at Zone Laser tag also want to congratulate Jack on achieving this prestegeous award and for building and running a facility that other operators want to imitate. We are proud to be a partner with Jack in supplying his laser tag equipment and wish him the best of luck for years to come.
