June 30, 2012 – There is a new family entertainment center opening up in Northwest Indiana, and it’s opening up with some brand new laser tag.

Jak’s Warehouse is coming soon and a state-of-the-art 20-player NexusFEC system is coming with it. Jak’s Warehouse is projected to be a monster 60,000 square foot facility and is operating the Nexus system in their roughly 2,500 square foot arena.

Jak’s Warehouse is opening its doors in Schererville, Indiana around August 1. The new fun center would offer 10 to 12 of the country’s most popular attractions, including a rock-climbing wall, 16 electronic-powered “extreme” go-karts, Velocity, a multilevel game where players shoot balls at each other. There will be 10 party rooms for birthdays on the mezzanine level that can be opened up into one big party room as well as a 6,000-square-foot video arcade/redemption game area, and of course the indoor NexusFEC laser tag.

The previous facility where Jak’s Warehouse is located was the Schererville Golf Center. ”When it closed, there were a lot of people who were sad to see it go," said Schererville-based developer and project spokesman Al Krygier, "This is definitely something that's not being supplied that there's a demand for."
