Superplay Brings Super Fun with Helios
December 13, 2014 - Superplay, located in Beaverton, OR, just rennovated their facility and is set to open in January with a 24 player Helios Laser Tag system and an 3,200 square foot, multi-level ARC Laser Tag arena.
Superplay is a bowling entertainment center with bowling, 40 arcade games, and a multi-level laser tag attraction. We spoke with Ken Paton, Project Manager with Superplay about the history of Superplay and what made them decide to upgrade their facility.
"Our facility originally opened in 1960 with 32 lanes." said Ken Paton. "On December 31, 2011, we had a fire that damaged part of our facility and we had to redesign. We looked at our competition and decided to do something different. We thought that once we got the money, we'd start over from scratch and try something more like an FEC. Now we have a competitive facility for young singles with a prime market for laser tag."
We also spoke to Ken about why he chose to go with Zone Laser Tag over the competition. "We looked at the rest of the equipment suppliers but what it came down to was value." said Ken. "We really liked the equimpent and the cost."
Superplay is set to open sometime in January of 2015. To check out their latest news and progress, visit their facebook page by clicking here.
